Spring has Sprung blog tour Day 4: The Janelle Wind Collection and Domesblissity

Spring has Sprung blog tour Day 4: The Janelle Wind Collection and Domesblissity

Do you have any blog or designer crushes or is it just me? I have admired Janelle from The Janelle Wind Collection for a long time, like a really long time (ok that makes me and her sound old but she pre-dates the whole crafty blogging craze, one of the original bloggers and designers!). I have loved watching her children grow, wanting to join her obsession with Blythe dolls – see I blogged about Janelle here, loved her vintage finds and ‘what I wore Wednesdays’ and most of all, I’m amazed by her collection of patterns. Since chatting with her about this blog tour, I kinda like to think we are virtual friends now. Love the way that happens in blogland.

Here is a little sneak peek of what Janelle has been making for Spring. Pretty! Take a look now. Since it is hard to determine what she is making I asked, here is the response (love it!) – “When I think of spring, I think of warm days, blue skies, new shoots on the trees and beautiful flowers. With my love of Spring and beautiful flower gardens in mind, I designed and made something super special to celebrate my love of Spring. I love it and can’t wait to show you.”

Next up is Anne from Domesblissity, another talented Queensland – what is in the water up there? Anne blogs a little about everything – lots of recipes, ‘Thriving’ her weekly thrifty linky party and cool little collections like this one ‘18 ways to use plastic milk jugs’.

Anne has created this cute little Pom Pom Flower embroidered cushion cover for our Spring has Sprung blog tour. Lovely.
